Four in a row: the rules
Four in a row: drop your discs, line up four before the other side does. These are the rules exactly as Dineri plays them.
The game
- An upright grid of 7 columns and 6 rows, and two players, each with discs of their colour. Who plays first (red) is drawn at random each game.
- Take turns: on yours, drop one disc into a column that isn't full, and it falls to the lowest empty spot.
Winning
- Four of your discs in a line, across, up and down, or diagonally, win at once.
- The grid full with no line of four: a draw.
- You may resign, and lose; a draw may be offered and accepted (again once the other player has moved twice).
